KFD DRILL NOVEMBER 2006

11/27/06 - This evening, members of Kearsarge utilized the Millcreek Mall for some end of the year outdoor training. For the end of November, the weather was about 50 degrees at 1900hrs. Chief 451 (Davis) was in command of drill. Captain 453 (Hanke) instructed some senior members on pump operations while refreshing some of the regular operators. Chief 451 took the probationary members and taught proper hydrant hook-up and operations. All instructor was then focused on foam operations. Members of KFD practiced foam operations for appx. 2 hours. This was an excellent way to end the outdoor drills for the year.
