SMOKE IN THE BUILDING - PEACH ST

03/23/06 - Kearsarge along with West Ridge, Perry Hi-Way, and MPS were dispatched to a report of smoke visible outside a vacant structure on Peach St. Chief 441 (Burhenn) arrived on location reporting light smoke showing. Engine 442 responded with 4 and arrived moments later. Engine 442's crew "flew the wye" and make a quick extinguishment of materials burning in the structure. No extension was found within the structure, and crews from Kearsarge operated for about an hour. Millcreek Police are investigating this incident.
