PEDESTRIAN STRUCK - 5900 BLOCK OF PEACH ST

06/19/06 - Kearsarge and MPS were dispatched around 1500 hrs for a pedestrian struck in the roadway. MPS and Chief 441 (Burhenn) arrived reporting on class 1 pt. Engine 443 responded along with Chiefs 450 (Nichols) and 451 (Davis). Crews from 443 assisted with pt care, secured the accident scene, and performed traffic duties. Additional Millcreek Township fire police were requested for traffic control. The driver as well as pedestrian were transported to the local trauma center. Millcreek Police are investigating the accident. Engine 443 was in service with about 1 hour, Chief 441 was in service with 1 hour and 15 minutes.
