Thank you for your interest in the Kearsarge Fire Department! We are an unpaid professional fire department in need of your help! We are recruiting Fire Fighters, Fire Police, Support Personnel, Administrative Personnel, Fund-raising Personnel, Building Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, Financial Presonnel and the list goes on and on! We are interested in individuals with or without experience. All we require is a willingness to learn and an interest to serve your community. Once you submit your application, a representative from our department will contact you to schedule an informal interview. After a successful interview and PA State Police Criminal Background Check, your application will be brought to the officers for consideration.
Following your application approved, you will be placed on a probationary status until you meet the following training requirements:
Completion of Pennsylvania State Essentials of Firefighting (160 hour class)Completion of a Pennsylvania Department of Health First Responder or EMT Class (60 hr or 150 hr class) Pennsylvania Hazardous Materials "Operations Level" Class
