Thank you for your interest in the Kearsarge Fire Department! We are an unpaid professional fire department located in Millcreek Township. We are always looking for anyone interested in being a Fire Fighters, Fire Police. Support Personnel, Administrative Personnel, Fund-raising, Building Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, Financial Personnel and the list goes on. We welcome individuals with or without experience. All we require is a willingness to learn and an interest to serve your community. Absolutely no obligation is required to explore the opportunities here at the Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department. We appreciate any and all help we can get! Thanks for your interest! Just stop in and pick up an application to apply. A representative from our department will contact you to schedule an informal interview. After a successful interview and PA State Police criminal background check, your application will then be brought to the officers for consideration.

Following your application approved, you will be placed on a probationary status until you meet the following training requirements:

  • Completion of Pennsylvania State Essentials of Firefighting (160 hour class)
  • Completion of a Pennsylvania Department of Health First Responder or EMT Class (60 hr or 150 hr class)
  • Pennsylvania Hazardous Materials "Operations Level" Class
