11/01/09- Kearsarge was dispatched for a structure fire assist WRFD and a smoke investigation within the hour. Engine 442 responded to 2525 West 34th Street assist WRFD for a structure fire with a crew of 6. WRFD 470 arrived on location and reported nothing visible and downgraded units to priority 2. Engine 442 arrived as the first due engine behind WRFD Quint 479 and staged at the primary water supply. Nothing was found after investigation and crews were clear within 40 minutes. Just after the engine crew was back in service station 44 was dispatched for a smoke investigation in the area of the Cinema 6 in the Millcreek Mall. Within minutes Engine 442, Tower 449, and Utility 446 responded. Companies arrived on location with nothing visible but a smell of smoke in the area. Crews investigated different parts of the mall for a half an hour and found nothing.
