Engine Assist 42 - Structure Fire

08/14/2011 - Kearsarge responded to assist Station 42 for a structure fire at The Courtyard Marriott Hotel on Peach St. Initial reports were of smoke and fire conditions on the second floor. Engine 442 responded along with Chief 441. Engine 442 arrived first due and made their way to the fire floor as Chief 441 and Chief 461 established a command post. The Engine crew found light smoke in the fire room. The fire was confined to room and contents and extinguished by the sprinkler system. There was no extension. The fire is under investigation.
