Structure Fire - Golden Living Center

1/23/2011 - As temperatures dropped in the single digits, units were alerted for a reported fire at Golden Living Center. Initial reports stated smoke conditions inside and a possible room and contents fire. Engine 442 arrived within minutes and Chief 440 assumed command. The interior crews reported to command that there was no fire or smoke, rather a water and  plumbing issue. Further investigating found no other problems.  Mutual aid  from Belle Valley, Perry Hi-Way, Kuhl Hose, Millcreek Paramedics, and Emergycare assisted Kearsarge. All units were in service within an hour.
