STRUCTURE FIRE - ARBUCKLE RD
04/28/07 - Just after 00:30 hrs, Kearsarge was requested for an engine and the truck to assist Belle Valley for a structure fire. Engine 32 (BVFD) arrived reporting heavy smoke and fire from side "C." Because there was no hydrants on Arbuckle Rd, Engine 442 responded and was assigned to stage at Arbuckle and Shultz Rd to assist with tanker shuttles. One member of KFD was transported to a local facility with minor injuries. A total of 17 departments were required to extinguish the fire, which took over 3 hours. Lake Shore Tanker 56, West Lake Engine 9, and West Ridge Engine 17 were transferred to Station 44 while crews operated on Arbuckle Rd. Crews from KFD were put into service at around 09:30 hrs.
