STAT MEDEVAC LANDING

MILLCREEK MALL

02/19/2007 - Kearsarge was dispatched for a Landing Zone for STAT MEDEVAC. Due to the large amount of snow behind Station 44, the Landing Zone was moved to the Millcreek Mall in the Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot. MPD assisted Millcreek Paramedics and KFD by shutting down the parking lot and all roadways surrounding the Landing Zone. WRFD Fire Police and Engine 443 set up and landed STAT 7. STAT 7 crew and MP14 went to Millcreek Community Hospital to pick up their pediatric transfer patient. Engine 443 remained on scene for appx. 1 hour.
