STRUCTURE FIRE - DEVON LANE

04/01/07 - Kearsarge with a dispatched with a full pre-plan for a chimney fire on Devon Lane. MP14 arrived reporting heavy smoke and fire from the structure. MP14 also advised incoming units that all occupants had exited the structure. Chief 450 (Davis) arrived and assumed command. Engine 442 arrived with 6 volunteers and began suppression operations. Tower 449 arrived minutes later and ventilated the structure. Crews from Kearsarge and West Ridge remained on location for approximately 2 hours. Engine 442, 16, and Tower 449 handled the incident. Units from West Lake and Perry Hi-Way responded but were later returned. Command was terminated at 2:50 a.m.
