Vehicle Fire Route 99 and Interchange

05/11/10 - Just after 1500 hours today, station 44 was dispatched for a vehicle fire at Route 99 and Interchange. Initial reports stated a truck on fire in the intersection. Deputy Chief 450 (Kapen) arrived and confirmed smoke showing from the engine compartment. Rescue 444 arrived with 4 volunteers and extinguished the fire with the water can. Utility 446 responded and shut the road down. All Kearsarge crews were clear within 30 minutes.
